Benefits to the operator

rtBilling is a feature-rich solution providing excellent advantages to the operator.

True real-time processing of voice calls, messaging, data and content

Through real-time authorisation, rating and charging of all types of transactions, the rtBilling solution helps operators to generate new revenue streams. Regardless of the subscription type being used, the solution gives an opportunity to charge all kinds of mobile services and mobile commerce transactions within pre-defined credit limits, eliminating risks of fraud and bad debt related to value-added service usage. With response times of 100 ms, rtBilling ensures that operations are carried out in real time.

Seamless pre-and post-paid convergence

In order to gain operational efficiency, rtBilling seamlessly integrates pre- and post-paid wireless billing, allowing anything from purely pre- or post-paid accounts to flexible hybrid accounts. With hybrid accounts, the user has only one phone number, but depending on use, different accounts are charged. Whatever the payment option of choice, rtBilling enables operators to provide equal services and usage possibilities for all customers. For example, hybrid accounts can be used to separate business calls from personal calls, or to select method of payment for certain value-added services.

Tools for innovative promotions

The unlimited rating possibilities enable the operators and service providers to tailor services for each customer segment and create ad-hoc marketing campaigns, including innovative promotions, cross-service discounting and loyalty schemes. In addition to one time price, the tariff plans enable pricing based on duration, volume, time of day, day of week and location. As new rating rules can be applied in real-time, pricing can easily be adjusted to answer rapidly changing market needs.

Multiple MVNOs in a single system

The rtBilling system easily accommodates several service providers and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) in a single system. Each MVNO and services Each MVNO and service provider can market and manage their own services under their own brands, range of numbers, and value-added servicesFor the network operator, this means maximisation of the network usage and increased revenue generation. Moreover, the service providers do not have to invest in expensive infrastructure, but can focus on creating imaginative services for the end-user.

Convenient administration tools

The rtBilling solution offers convenient administration of system operations and maintenance, as well as service management. Comprehensive alarms, reports and statistics enable demanding market analysis and fast reactions on market changes. Through subscription lifecycles, service providers can measure and control subscriptions that are dormant or otherwise do not generate revenue. Account partitions, in turn, allow rapid and cost-efficient introduction of new services and competitive discounts to the right customer groups

Lowest total cost of ownership

With the unmatched scalability, operators can easily add new subscribers as their businesses grow. The total cost of ownership (TCO) of the entire system has been ranked as the lowest of all systems available in the market*. Currently the solution supports up to 10 million subscribers on a single service control point. In addition, the unparallel zero-downtime reliability provides the power and performance to deliver continuous service in all circumstances.

Turnkey solution with a multitude of APIs for easy integration

rtBilling is an IN-based, switch independent solution. It provides a full set of APIs for easy integration with existing network and business operations and m-commerce systems. rtBilling operates in GSM, TDMA, CDMA, GPRS and 3G networks, being able to simultaneously serve different network customers within the same system. The solution supports CS-1, CAMEL 2 and 3, and WIN IS-826 standards.
